A wonderful local artist, Annie Graham, recently contacted us about painting portraits of our adoptable animals. As soon as we saw her work, we jumped at the chance to forge a relationship with her. To say the paintings are beautiful would be an understatement! Annie has a true gift for capturing the animals' emotions. Just look at the portrait she painted of adoptable dog Casey!
Annie will paint your animal - from a photo that she accepts or from one that she takes (she prefers that option) - for a fixed price donation to the Escondido Humane Society. She will donate the supplies and work and payment is made to us. So, you can get an amazing keepsake portrait of your pet while helping our animals. How great is that!
Annie loves animals and she loves to paint, and her reward (besides helping the animals) is that she paints what she wants to paint, how she wants to paint it. A portrait of one animal close-up (without the frame) is $100; more animals or scenes will require a quote. If for any reason you do not like your portrait, there is no obligation to accept it.
