Community outreach is a large part of the Escondido Humane Society's mission. We hold adoption outreaches almost every Saturday each month, and even one during the week. September (and the end of August!) is already shaping up to be a great month for outreaches. Below is a rundown of what we have planned: Aug. 24: Monthly dog adoption outreach at Petco Escondido, 1000 W. Valley Parkway. Meet EHS adoptable dogs, and visit with adoptable cats and bunnies who are available on-site, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Aug. 29: Rancho Bernardo Jamboree at Kahoots, 11965 Bernardo Plaza Drive. Meet our adoptable dogs, and be treated to music and barbecue!
Sept. 3: Meet foster dogs and dogs residing at EHS on the first Thursday of the month at Dogtopia of San Marcos, 925 W. San Marcos Blvd. Time TBA.
Sept. 5: Meet our adoptable dogs and learn about Escondido Humane Society programs at the Rancho Family YMCA Open House Celebration from noon to 3 p.m., 9410 Fairgrove Lane, San Diego.
Sept. 11-13: Meet some of our adoptable dogs and visit with cats who are available on-site during the PetsMart Adoption Event. Times TBA; 415 N. Escondido Blvd., Escondido
Sept. 12: Monthly outreach at Kahoots West, 334 W. El Norte Parkway, Escondido. Meet EHS adoptable dogs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sept. 26: Monthly dog adoption outreach at Petco Escondido, 1000 W. Valley Parkway. Meet EHS adoptable dogs, and visit with adoptable cats and bunnies who are available on-site, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
