This weekend is chock-full of community outreach events for us. Tomorrow, we will be having our monthly adoption outreach at Petco, 1000 W. Valley Parkway in Escondido, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All of our adoption outreaches this month have been great successes, with several dogs finding new homes, so we are hoping for more of the same tomorrow at Petco! If you are in the area, stop by to meet our wonderful pooches, as well as our bunnies and cats who are available for adoption at the store.Tomorrow is also Green Scene at Grape Day Park. The free event, which is from 1 to 4 p.m., will offer live music, information, freebies and recycling opportunities. We will be collecting old towels, bedding, and gently used pet supplies for our animals, and we also will talk to people about why "recycled" pets are the best!
Last, but certainly not least, a few of our adoptable dogs will be at the St. Marks Catholic Church Fair on Sunday to meet and greet the public. We will be there from 3 to about 4 p.m., so stop by and see us!
