Hop on in to the Escondido Humane Society for our "Somebunny to Love" social event this Saturday. Our lovable adoptable rabbits, like Alegra (pictured here), will be meeting and greeting the public in the EHS conference room starting at 10 a.m. The San Diego House Rabbit Society also will be on hand with information about adoption and caring for your rabbit companion.Our "Somebunny to Love" event is part of National Rabbit Week July 14-21. The campaign aims to promote responsible rabbit ownership and focuses on communicating the fact that, while they make the most fantastic companion animals for children and adults alike, bunnies require the same high levels of care, attention and commitment as dogs, cats and other animals.
