We are having a class on rabbit care from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 18 at the shelter, 3450 E. Valley Parkway. Patricia Mulcahy, education director at the San Diego House Rabbit Society, will teach rabbit owners and potential bunny adopters about rabbit care, adoption and various bunny-related topics. Adoptable bunnies from the shelter may even take part in the class for hands-on demonstrations about proper handling and care.Attendees are asked to call (760) 888-2242 to R.S.V.P. The class coincides with National Rabbit Week, which is July 15-22.
